small is big

NEVER forget that God cares about the little things
and its usually through the little things where he reaches deepest into our hearts
with his soft whisper
his affirming touch
he stands strong in his words
"ask and it will be given"
no matter how pathetic or silly your need is
he is a loving God
and knows what goes on in the deepest of deeps of the heart and soul
he is always willing to comfort and help

before i fell asleep for my nap
i said a quick prayer
i just needed to hear that he was doing ok
i needed that confirmation that WE were doing ok
just one little message was all i needed from him

i fell asleep not expecting anything
just another ordinary day getting used to the lack of his presence

but God is good
and i woke up with a smile
a few words from him, and the sweet affirmation that everything
is and will be okay

i finish this day with a peaceful and thankful heart
God hears, even our little whispers of needs
and that gives me full joy

because GOD almighty
cares so much for the little things
he must care even more for the big things.

i will forever rely and depend on him
in all my needs
no matter how childish
no matter how small.
